Products

Buy the step that hurts. Add the rest when it pays.

Draweon ships as five products mapped to the cable line, not to abstract capabilities. Drawix, Cablyn and Extrio control a process step, Eddix is the shared inspection backbone and Simweon is the twin over the whole line. Start with one on the Line tier and expand as each proves its number.

The five

One stack, five products, one record

Drawix controls rod breakdown, drawing and annealing. Cablyn takes sized conductor and controls stranding. Extrio takes the core and controls insulation and jacket extrusion. Eddix senses across all three. Simweon simulates the whole line and hands proven setpoints back.

Drawix · draw and anneal

Autonomous rod-breakdown, wire-drawing and annealing control that hits diameter and conductivity without breaks.

Drawix perceives rod, wire, tension, die force, temperature and annealer conductivity in real time, predicts break risk and die wear before they happen, and closes the loop on die and capstan sequencing, tension, line speed and annealing setpoints.

Cablyn · strand and cable

Autonomous stranding and cabling control that holds lay length and geometry across every conductor.

Cablyn senses payoff tension, take-up, rotational speed and geometry, predicts lay and roundness drift and birdcaging before they form, and closes the loop on strander and take-up speeds and tensions to hold target lay length and geometry, feeding a clean, round, on-spec core to extrusion..

Extrio · insulate and jacket

Autonomous insulation and jacket extrusion control that holds wall thickness, concentricity and dielectric quality at line speed.

Extrio fuses gauge, laser and wall-scan signals with melt and cooling telemetry, predicts eccentricity and wall drift before it lands on the reel, and closes the loop on screw speed, temperature zones, line speed and vacuum and cooling to hold concentric wall and dielectric quality while cutting polymer give-away and scrap..

Eddix · defect and inspect

Multi-sensor defect inspection that predicts eccentricity, sparks and pinholes before they reach the reel.

Eddix fuses vision, laser, eddy-current and spark-test signals into one real-time model of cable health.

Simweon · line twin

An as-run cable-line digital twin that hits target quality, dimension and takt before the run.

Simweon simulates rod breakdown, drawing, annealing, stranding, extrusion, cooling and reel handling with GPU-accelerated physics, compares as-run against as-designed, and auto-optimises draw schedule, lay and extrusion recipes to hit target quality, dimension and takt before the first metre runs.

Drawix · ■ brand #C2410C

Drawix

Autonomous rod-breakdown, wire-drawing and annealing control that hits diameter and conductivity without breaks.

The problem

Wire drawing is the craft-bound, energy-hungry front of every cable plant. Rod is pulled down through a die train to precise diameter and tensile at high line speed, then annealed to exact conductivity and softness. Fixed die and line-speed setpoints cannot hold as dies wear, rod chemistry shifts and lubrication drifts, so wire necks down or breaks, annealer conductivity drifts and the line stops. Every break scraps copper or aluminium and costs a high-speed line minutes it never recovers.

What Drawix does

Drawix perceives rod, wire, tension, die force, temperature and annealer conductivity in real time, predicts break risk and die wear before they happen, and closes the loop on die and capstan sequencing, tension, line speed and annealing setpoints. It captures each drawer's craft as a reusable model, so the plant runs at expert tension on every shift.

Who it is for

Wire and cable manufacturers running rod breakdown, intermediate and fine drawing, and continuous or batch annealing in copper and aluminium.

Why it needs a GPU

Edge inference fuses tension, force, thermal and conductivity streams at 100 to 1,000 Hz with sub-50 ms decision latency. CPU-only loops miss break precursors that develop in milliseconds. GPU training over millions of draw events and physics-informed surrogates make hit-diameter-before-run recipes tractable.

MVP scope and first metric

One drawing line plus annealer, tension, die and thermal sensing, break-risk prediction with advisory then bounded autonomy, an energy-per-reel view. First metric: break or energy reduction on a named line.

Tier. Line tier, $14,000 per drawing line per month, expanding to Plant and Enterprise.

Cablyn · ■ brand #0D9488

Cablyn

Autonomous stranding and cabling control that holds lay length and geometry across every conductor.

The problem

Stranding and cabling turn single wires into a conductor or a cable core, and geometry is everything: lay length, lay direction, tightness and roundness decide flexibility, diameter, electrical performance and whether downstream extrusion lands concentric. Fixed bunching, planetary and rigid-strander setpoints cannot hold lay as tension, spool payoff and wire batches vary, so lay drifts, cores go out of round, and birdcaging surfaces reels later as scrap.

What Cablyn does

Cablyn senses payoff tension, take-up, rotational speed and geometry, predicts lay and roundness drift and birdcaging before they form, and closes the loop on strander and take-up speeds and tensions to hold target lay length and geometry, feeding a clean, round, on-spec core to extrusion.

Who it is for

Wire and cable makers running bunching, planetary, rigid and tubular stranding and cabling lines for power, building, automotive and EV harness, data and specialty cable.

Key features

  • Real-time lay-length, roundness and tension sensing and prediction
  • Autonomous strander and take-up speed and tension control
  • Birdcaging, looseness and out-of-round prevention
  • Payoff-tension balancing across many spools
  • Geometry-craft capture and per-line process memory
  • Core-geometry handoff to extrusion and inspection

Why it needs a GPU

Multi-spool tension and geometry fusion at high rate with sub-250 ms bounded control exceeds CPU real-time budgets. GPU training over stranding telemetry and simulated lay dynamics make predictive geometry control and hit-lay-before-run feasible.

MVP scope and first metric

One stranding line, tension and geometry sensing, lay and roundness prediction advisory then bounded control. First metric: out-of-round or lay-consistency scrap reduction.

Tier. Line tier, $14,000 per stranding line per month, expanding to Plant and Enterprise.

Extrio · ■ brand #2563EB

Extrio

Autonomous insulation and jacket extrusion control that holds wall thickness, concentricity and dielectric quality at line speed.

The problem

Insulation and jacket extrusion decides whether a cable passes or becomes a safety recall. Molten PVC, XLPE, PE or rubber is extruded over a moving conductor to an exact wall and concentricity, then cooled and cured at high line speed. Fixed screw-speed, temperature and line-speed setpoints drift as material lots, moisture and cooling change, so walls run thick (wasted polymer) or thin and eccentric (dielectric weak spots, sparks, pinholes, field failures).

What Extrio does

Extrio fuses gauge, laser and wall-scan signals with melt and cooling telemetry, predicts eccentricity and wall drift before it lands on the reel, and closes the loop on screw speed, temperature zones, line speed and vacuum and cooling to hold concentric wall and dielectric quality while cutting polymer give-away and scrap.

Who it is for

Wire and cable makers running insulation and jacket extrusion lines for power and building wire, automotive and EV, data and fibre, and specialty cable qualified to UL, IEC and automotive standards.

Key features

  • Real-time wall-thickness and concentricity sensing and prediction
  • Autonomous screw-speed, zone-temperature, line-speed and cooling control
  • Polymer give-away and scrap minimisation
  • Dielectric-risk and eccentricity prediction with graduated autonomy
  • Material-lot and moisture-aware recipe adaptation
  • Extrusion-craft capture and per-line process memory

Why it needs a GPU

Edge fusion of wall, laser, X-ray and thermal at 100 to 1,000 Hz with sub-250 ms bounded control. GPU-accelerated polymer-extrusion CFD and thermal simulation make hit-wall-before-run recipes feasible where standard solvers are too slow for production cadence.

MVP scope and first metric

One extrusion line, wall and concentricity fusion, eccentricity prediction advisory then bounded control, a give-away view. First metric: polymer give-away or eccentricity reduction.

Eddix · ■ brand #7C3AED

Eddix

Multi-sensor defect inspection that predicts eccentricity, sparks and pinholes before they reach the reel.

The problem

A cable plant runs blind between spot checks. Diameter drift, lumps and neckdowns, insulation faults, sparks and pinholes appear at line speed, but inspection is fragmented across separate laser gauges, eddy-current heads, spark testers and occasional cameras, each alarming after the defect is already made. By the time a spark tester trips, thousands of metres may be off-spec.

What Eddix does

Eddix fuses vision, laser, eddy-current and spark-test signals into one real-time model of cable health. It detects and predicts diameter and eccentricity drift, lumps and neckdowns, insulation faults, sparks and pinholes, localises them to exact reel and length, and hands bounded corrective recommendations to Drawix, Cablyn and Extrio so the line self-corrects before scrap is made.

Who it is for

Wire and cable makers running drawing, stranding and extrusion lines with laser, eddy-current, spark and vision inspection who need to cut scrap, downgrade and dielectric field escapes and prove conformance.

Key features

  • Fused vision, laser, eddy-current and spark-test perception
  • Predictive eccentricity, spark, pinhole and neckdown detection
  • Reel and length defect localisation and genealogy
  • Bounded corrective recommendations routed to control agents
  • Standards-cited defect audit trail
  • Synthetic augmentation of rare defect types

Why it needs a GPU

4 to 12 cameras per line at 60 to 240 fps plus laser, eddy, spark and time-series fusion at 100 to 1,000 Hz demand GPU inference under 50 ms. GPU training over 5 to 20 million labelled frames and synthetic rare-defect generation are accelerated-compute workloads by nature.

MVP scope and first metric

One line, fused vision, laser and spark, predictive spark and eccentricity alerting with reel localisation and genealogy export. First metric: downgrade or escape reduction.

Simweon · ■ brand #4F46E5

Simweon

An as-run cable-line digital twin that hits target quality, dimension and takt before the run.

The problem

Cable makers commit copper, polymer and a whole line to a run before they know it will hold spec. New constructions, material lots and changeovers are dialled in on the real line, burning scrap, energy and hours while operators chase setpoints. There is no fast, physics-accurate way to simulate drawing, stranding and extrusion together and prove a recipe first.

What Simweon does

Simweon simulates rod breakdown, drawing, annealing, stranding, extrusion, cooling and reel handling with GPU-accelerated physics, compares as-run against as-designed, and auto-optimises draw schedule, lay and extrusion recipes to hit target quality, dimension and takt before the first metre runs. It feeds proven setpoints to Drawix, Cablyn and Extrio.

Who it is for

Wire and cable makers introducing new constructions, running frequent changeovers, or scaling grid, data-centre and EV cable who need to cut ramp scrap and prove recipes before production.

Key features

  • Whole-line as-run twin: draw, strand, extrude, cool, reel
  • GPU-accelerated polymer-extrusion CFD and drawing and thermal simulation
  • As-run versus as-designed delta analysis
  • Auto-optimised draw, lay and extrusion recipes
  • Changeover and new-construction validation
  • Proven-setpoint handoff to the control agents

Why it needs a GPU

Polymer-extrusion CFD, drawing and thermal, and stranding-dynamics simulation are compute-heavy. Running them fast enough for daily production planning is impossible on CPU. Physics-informed surrogates and cuOpt optimisation are GPU workloads by nature, making this the most GPU-intensive product in the stack.

MVP scope and first metric

An extrusion-line twin with CFD and thermal, as-run versus as-designed deltas and recipe suggestion for one construction. First metric: changeover-time or ramp-scrap reduction. Then the whole line.

Tier. Sold inside Plant ($90,000 per month) and Enterprise as the twin and optimisation layer.

FAQ

Straight answers

The questions plant directors and process engineers ask in the first meeting.

Yes, but only within an explicit tag allow-list with per-tag rate and magnitude limits, and only at the autonomy level your plant has set. Level 1 is advisory: Draweon recommends and a human enters everything. Design partners start there, in shadow mode, before supervised writes.
